Sucker for a label

Are you a sucker for a label like me?

As I have gotten older I've started to find that I have become more and more particular about what clothes I buy, this was made no more apparent to me this weekend when I shelled out for a Ralph Lauren T-shirt when me and the wife went to Gunwharf Quays for a bit of retail therapy, you can read about the trip HERE
Now this is like any other black T-shirt but has a tiny red horse on it... and because of that it costs a crazy amount of money in respect to what it is... or does it?

I used to buy bundles of Primark T-shirts  (don't get me wrong I have nothing against them) but I'd find after a while they would be baggy and not fit great and it would then just sit in the shelf as I wouldn't wanna wear it and eventually I would just bin a big bundle every few months....now cut to the more expensive ones and they last a hell of a lot longer that's for sure.

I'm sure it's all relative but for me I'll be keeping my clothes to quality not quaintly from now on
( I wish that had been the case every time I had moved in the last 3 years with the amount of crap I had to pack and lug about )

Please don't think I am being a snob here, I understand that everyone's situation is different but it seems like saving to buy a couple of decent shirts ( this goes for boxers aswell, when ever we go to Gunwharf I always grab some Calvin Klein boxers which last so much longer than other brands) that can be worn for a few years rather than having to get some new ones ever few months will save you money in the long run...

But what about how fashion changes I hear you ask...
Well you can't go wrong with some classic colors like black, white or blue and then accessorize around them....

Cheers for reading...

  1. I think if you like it, it fits and you like how it looks, where it is from is irrelevant.

    1. That's a fair comment indeed.... everyone is different.
