Tattoo Talk with Sarah from Sarah's World

So it's time for some more...
Name- Sarah
I’m a family and lifestyle blogger,Who loves to read and game, I host competitions and do reviews for companies my last review was for Nerd Block. I used to also admin for a fantastically popular Facebook page called Super Cosplay Girls.

So what was your first tattoo and how old where you?
My first tattoo was on my lower back-yes i have a Tramp Stamp, I had this done when i was 24

Why did you choose that specific design?
I took 3 years to decide but as soon as I saw this one I wanted it, mainly I love the Bat shape to it (That’s what i see anyway) I love Batman I didn't want a specific themed tattoo just something that resembled some I love.

How many tattoos do you have currently, What are they?
I have 5 tattoo’s, behind my right ear-going down the nape of my neck, my lower back, both of my forearms and on my left shoulder.

Do you have a favorite piece, if so what one and why?
I love my forearms as it is my Autism Awareness one, my 7 year old son is Autistic and there is a high chance his little brother is too. Also love my shoulder one I had a few months ago it has my boyfriend Marc’s name on it, we have been together 16 1/2 years and have 5 children together, we have no plans on us splitting anytime soon.

Did you do a lot of research in to your chosen artist/artists?
Not really I tend to go by example of work friends have had done by the same person, my next one I plan on getting something really detailed though so I want to find an artist who I know has done lot’s of similar designs before.

Are you planning on anymore?
Yup, I want my stomach done leading up into an under boob tattoo (I want to lose weight and tone up first though) also plan on one on my hand and the back of my neck.

Most painful tattoo?
My forearms the wrists especially were very painful.

General reaction from friends and family about your body mods, Are they happy about you having them?
To be honest know one is bothered they think they look good, that’s all I hear.

Reactions from members of the public about your body mods, Good or Bad?
I have had mostly good reactions with people asking about them, a few bad reactions but all are from old lady’s who start off by saying in my day we would never dream of hurting ourselves (or similar).

Have you tattoos ever hindered anything you wanted to do, interviews, work, etc?
Nope I have never had any problems.

Do you find people will touch your tattoo (body mods) without asking, If so how do you deal with it? Honestly I have never had this happen the most is if someone asks to see my lower back one as it is always covered.

Do you get asked did it hurt a lot, What do you tell people?
I am always asked this question my reply is they didn't all hurt,my ear one tickled I had goosebumps! and the ones that did hurt are nothing in comparison with childbirth.

Anything Else?
I cant wait to get my next tattoo done...pain...bring it on!

Thanks a lot to Sarah for taking part, be sure to go and check out her blog and if you would like to feature on Tattoo Talk then shoot me an email or a tweet.
