Tattoo Talk with Kev from Metal Morphosis

So its time for some more
This week we have...

Name - Kevin
Sticking holes in folk for money aka body piercer
Metal Morphosis on Oxford street London

So what was your first tattoo and how old where you?
My first tattoo was my 18th birthday I went to Camden like all the idiots do and got a hatchet warrior...
(Juggalo 4 Lyfe)
Why did you choose that specific design?
Because I was young and thought the insane  was the coolest thing I'd ever heard!
(Oh what a dick younger me was)
How many tattoos do you have currently? What are they?
I have no clue I'm covered from my head to my toes and I'm far too lazy to write about every single one of them.
Do you have a favorite piece? if so what one and why?
Erm I have a few one is my zombie third eye on my shin just because it looks so fucking good, I have a bloody hour glass which was done by my friend Jim from the states who after a drunken chat I found out he was the guitarist in one of my favourite bands as a kid (death by stereo) so that was pretty cool. Erm I dunno this is hard.... They are all my favourite in there own way.
Did you do a lot of research in to your chosen artist/artists?
Sorta I get to work alongside some truly great artists so that's sorta research but if I'm honest I'm not that bothered by the quality of the tattoo I'm bothered by the quality of the person doing it every tattoo I have is done by a friend so each one is special and helps me remember certain people at certain times in my life
Are you planning on anymore?
Finishing my back piece then I'm about done.
A silly question as pain is relative but Most painful tattoo?
Palm of my hands fuck me I nearly cried!
General reaction from friends and family about your tattoos/body mods?
Are they happy about you having them?
If people can't accept you for the person you are but judge you on what you have on/in your skin then fuck them they are not worth it.
Reactions from members of the public about your tattoos/body mods, Good or Bad?
Good and bad to be honest, I am heavily tattooed and have my face tattooed so I get a lot of looks walking down the street and on public transport always getting asked "did that hurt" by some fucking mongoloid whilst I'm trying to chill out on my way home from work is probably the most annoying thing in my life. And to anyone who says "but you did it to yourself so you should expect people to ask questions" yes I did do it to myself but I respect every human being equally no matter race, color, sexuality or disability and expect to be treated the same.
Have you tattoos ever hindered anything you wanted to do, interviews, work, etc?
Hahaha no I normally get "dude no way is that a jizzing cock on your shin" it's a good conversation starter.
Do you get asked did it hurt a lot? What do you tell people?
Yes but I'm a little slow so keep going back.
Do you find people will touch your tattoo (body mods) without asking? If so how do you deal with it? Sometimes mainly in pubs by drunken twats I either just tell them not to touch me as I have the cooties or if I'm drunk I start touching them back in more awkward places and wink at them.
Shout out to the artist/artists hear if you want :)
My mate josh has recently opened up his own studio on the Isle of Wight called old time tattoos he's an amazing artist and all round good guy
Any partying words?
