Tattoo Talk with Annie Reed from Beauty By Trial

So this time round we have Annie for some more...
Name- Annie Reed
So I'm a beauty and fashion blogger. The links above and below contain exclusive offers, my latest reviews and a few tips and tutorials along the way :)

So what was your first tattoo and how old where you?
I was 16 (tap on the wrist for me!) But accompanied by my mother. It was my name written in Chinese symbols on my lower belly.

Why did you choose that specific design?
I wanted something small and simple to ease me on gently but something that meant something so what better than my name lol

How many tattoos do you have currently? What are they?
I have 8 tattoos. 1 of each child's name, a quote about my husband in Arabic, a large feather piece on my ribs, my star sign and pattern lower back, my name (first one) and 5 the Cheryl Cole replica on the side of hand below little finger knuckle.

Do you have a favourite piece, if so what one and why?
I love the feather piece it's so pretty and I can add a deceased loved ones name when the time comes (morbid I know but meaningful). I love them all though!

Did you do a lot of research in to your chosen artist/artists?
I will only go to recommended by friends or family I wouldn't just go for a cheap person down the road lol

Are you planning on any-more?
Maybe if a loved one dies or anymore kids names. They are addictive.

Most painful tattoo?
I would've thought my ribs but noooo my lower back I actually half fainted mid tattooing :-o

General reaction from friends and family about your body mods? Are they happy about you having them?
Love them!! My dad actually hates tattoos but he thinks mine are all tastefully done he says

Reactions from members of the public about your body mods, Good or Bad?
Neither or. I don't think it bothers them. They're not intrusive and are all easily covered and pretty little things with meanings.

Have you tattoos ever hindered anything you wanted to do, interviews, work, etc?
Never. I once got asked to cover one at a very famous racecourse once working. I told them if they didn't like them then why do they host the tattoo jam here. I won my argument lol.

Do you get asked did it hurt a lot? What do you tell people?
Yes all the time. I tell them no just a sharp scratch maybe a little uncomfortable.

Do you find people will touch your tattoo (body mods) without asking? If so how do you deal with it?
Not really unless they're pointing and saying I love that etc doesn't faze me.

Shout out to the artist/artists hear if you want!
Poppa Jack aka Sid in Padiham :-D

Any parting words?
