Audiobook Review, Losing Heart by Donna Brown

So I was lucky enough to get a audio copy of Losing Heart via Audible.com to have a listen to, as most of the projects I'm involved with via Podcasting are audible, listening to an Ebook is right up my street.

 A Little Synopsis then...

Helen is waiting for the pager to buzz.
The buzz that she is waiting for will save her life.
When her pager finally dose beep, it is to let her know that there has been a matching donor found to give her the new heart she needs.

However, with this new heart comes some dissatisfaction, as Helen feels like the life that she is living isn't doing justice to the gift that she has been given.
She decides to live life to the fullest.

There is only problem with this plan is Marian.
Marian is the mother of the heart donor and she seems intent on forcing herself into Helen’s family.

So the Review...
First off the plot is really rather good, but I feel it deserves a proper novel length as it feels a bit crammed together.
I was really impressed with the writing and how even though Helen is shown as a cold hearted bitch you can't help but feel sorry for her, and then the further you get in to the story you start to root for her.
Like wise for Marian but in reverse as you start off pitying and feeling sorry for her, then start to root against her.
I don't want to give any more away so all I will say is get your self a copy, and I bet you will find it hard not to keep reading to then end!
